The most important work rarely happens at the edge of one field. It takes shape when different perspectives meet, ideas become understood beyond those who created them, and systems preserve the knowledge behind decisions. My work begins with what needs to connect. Sometimes that is language. Sometimes relationships. Sometimes structure. Sometimes digital infrastructure.

My work has taken shape in private mandates, research, culture, education, technology and health advocacy, across different countries, languages and institutional traditions.
A consistent thread runs through it: something of value needed the right form, relationships or structure to be understood, shared and carried forward.
Some projects call for wider collaboration. When they do, I bring together the people whose knowledge best serves the work.

Contexts
The practice moves through commercial, institutional, charitable and private settings. Each has its own pressures and conventions, so the response must belong to the situation rather than follow a formula.
International and cross-cultural collaboration
Shared ambitions often involve different languages, disciplines and assumptions about trust, authority and meaning. The aim is understanding without flattening difference.
Culture and education
Collections, galleries, educational initiatives and cultural relationships depend on interpretation and context. Language, partnerships and structure shape how value is recognised without being reduced.

Research, patient advocacy and public-interest work bring together specialist knowledge, lived experience and institutional purpose. The work is to preserve their integrity while strengthening the conditions for action.
Digital infrastructure and platforms
Platforms, workflows and digital tools give knowledge, decisions and activity a coherent place to live. The technology follows the organisation: what must be visible, remembered and made actionable.
Private and family mandates
Discreet assignments requiring independence, confidentiality and careful judgement. Details remain private. The standard of attention does not.
Approach
No fixed framework is imposed before the context is understood.
I begin with the people involved, the assumptions shaping the situation and what the work actually requires. From there, the response may become language, a partnership, a different way of operating or practical infrastructure.
Rachel Botsman describes trust as "a confident relationship with the unknown." Certainty is rarely available, but careful interpretation, reliable conduct and clear choices create confidence to act.
Independence is not distance. It is the freedom to think clearly. It means understanding the interests involved without becoming captive to any one of them.
